      Re: Trim Codes

I have a 1972, 1974, 1975's, 1976's, 1977, 1979, 1980. Are they different for each year? I have acquired these vehicles over the years with retirement in mind. Now I am starting to restore and want them back to original, but I am having problems finding the neede information. Any help would be appreciated.

Richard Prince authored a book entitled "Corvette Restoration Guide 1968-1982" in the back is appendix T and it lists all the exterior paint color codes, interior trim color codes and available combinations. I found it usefull when I was restoring my 1972 coupe. published by MBI and list's for $29.95. you probably can find one used on Amazon.com for 1/2 of that.I'd be happy to provide any info from mine that you would need

Frequently, yes. The NCRS specifications guide has everything you need. Go to the NCRS store page at the top.

I you are really serious about restoring your cars, the first and most important reference is the Judging Reference Manual, available on this site.
You will need three; the '70-72, '73-77 and '78-82.
These have the codes you are seeking and just about everything else you will need to know to get started.
