Need 67 SB Coil Spring Replacement

I have to replace the coil springs in my 67 convertible, 327/350 Hp, no options. Mine are flat..have helpers in them. Can anyone suggest what to buy that look like the originals...coils, ride height, etc.? And where to buy? I read the archives and no help. Thanks...Gary

Stu...The Avatar is my 67 coupe that I have been restoring since 1994. I am putting it on the fast track and it will show up at an NCRS meet in a couple years I hope. It has the original drivetrain, unhit body and is a real sidepipe car. The orig color is marina on blue/white. See attached picture of it setting in the snow in Feb, 1971 near Elmira, NY when owned by the person before me.

I need the coil springs for my other 67 which is a convertible. I am surprised at the lack of help on this one as someone always has something to say.

        Gary,

I don't believe any of the currently available reproduction front springs are like originals. Specifically, originals had a progressive spring rate. The pic is an NOS set of GM 3851100. You can see how the coil spacing gets tighter on the right side. Many of the service replacement NOS springs were painted, where factory installed springs were natural. If you want correct springs, you would need to obtain an NOS set of GM 3851100 and strip any paint. These are getting hard to find but they do show up on ebay from time to time. Otherwise, the currently available coil springs from any of the vendors will serve as functional replacements.
