    67 Rocker Panels-Undercar Exhaust

Anyone have any tips on repainting the black on my 67 rocker panels. They have never been repainted before.

    Recommended brand, type of paint?

    Jerry,

I refinished a set over the weekend using KRYLON semi-gloss Black. They came out just fine.

Ditto for me. I used the same paint and mine also turned out great.

        Douglas/Lorne,

Did you strip them, or use any primer.

        What was the prep?

I took a slightly different route but still got excellent results. I stripped off the old black paint with a standard paint stripper, washed the area thoroughly and used a red oxide primer. I lighly sanded the primer with a 400 grit and then a 600 grit sandpaper then applied the black finish.
