    What is the best spark plug for a 1966 427 390 I have a set of R44XLS and a set of R43XLS and what is the difrance between then.

      The 44 is 1 heat range higher and probably the better plug for your application. I use the R45XLS in my 68 L36 and it runs great with it. I like the 5 heat range for both big and small blocks for all around driving.
