Identify BB 4-bbl Air Cleaner Base

This seems to be a GM generic base molding with bottom nozzle set up for clean air to passenger valve cover (other 2 rubber plugs filling holes that could be a) the K19 air injection reactor clean air source on BB's, and, b) the clean air source for '66-67 small blocks to rear crankcase [the other plug]) ?? But never all 3 holes used at once in any application ?

I've had it since the mid '80s, if memory serves.

Or, are '66-7 327 air cleaner bases different ?

I don't know of any Corvette application that ever used more than 2 tubes on the air cleaner base. Most used a single tube (for PCV system "intake"). I believe 1966-67 with K-19 used 2 tubes, 1 for the PCV system "intake" and the other for the AIR pump intake. The configuration of the 327 and 427 bases were different, though, primarily involving the location/size/angle of the tubes.

After 1967 and through 1972 (end of open element air cleaner use in Corvettes) only a single tube was used (for the PCV system).

I've seen the style air cleaner base you show in your photos. However, I don't think this style base was ever sold through the GM parts system. If it was, it was sold as a "performance part" and not a SERVICE replacement for a PRODUCTION applications (even though it could be used as a SERVICE replacement for many PRODUCTION air cleaners). I think this style was mostly sold through the Delco parts system as an AC-branded, "one-size-fits-all" replacement for many GM applications, Chevrolet and otherwise. My vague recollection is that it had a GM "long number" but was a Delco-parts system-only item. I can't find the part number now, though.

It looks just like the one that many of the Vette vendors list for a multitude of applications. I have one in my stash that is exactly like yours.
