Mid year convertible weather stripping and tack strip?

I am replacing my convertible top on my 64 and want to know if anyone has any recommendations as to a source for the best/correct convertible weather stripping?

Another question: which tack strip, plastic or original, is better to use?

I last did my 63 back in 1976. Today you have lots of choices and I'm sure you will get some good advice. I had to make my tacking strip using 1/8" masonite strips laminated together with Elmer's Glue and held with a bunch of small "C" clamps. It's still holding as of today and I still have all the clamps in my tool box waiting for their next big job.

Corvette rubber makes the weather stripping. The replacement materials fit well. When you install them you will notice they seem a little too thick they will crush after some use. The suppliers of the tops sell the tack strip. I got some from Al Knock.
