Any one still getting some radio static out of your original radio ? Or may be when increasing RPM. Why not find and install the original Dist rotor for the 55 Corvette and early 56 .You may have never seen one like this because few people know what the original looked like. See that little Carbon piece in it , that's how it worked to reduce static.Used on many other models Buick,Chevy & Olds. And 1955-early56 Corvette and will work on later C1's. Thanks Roy. I remember those well from back in the day. Have not seen one in many years. Those are the old two finger pull models.

Yup. 68 for another month. Thanks for noticing.

Didn't those rotors pop like a cork when you removed them? That's why I mentiioned the "Two Finger" method.
