I just found these picture's in the Dutch National picture archives
these picture's where taken on feb. 4th 1963 on the Amsterdam Rai
(auto exposition)

probably the first stingray in the Netherlands at that time

There was a story in one of the Corvette Magazines not too long ago about a 63 that was being prepared for shipment to Europe for a show back in early 1963. Seems to me it was a silver coupe as well. I'll see if I can locate the article in my library. Probably a long shot that it was the same car, or for the same show, but it's interesting to check out anyway.

I thought the same thing, but I figured my eyes were playing tricks on me. Some of those early models sent to Europe had a number of unusual styling treatments. I hope I can find that article.

I have tried two pair of glasses and it appears the windows in the doors have a line/moulding around them also. Possibly a reflection? The wheel openings do look larger.

Also, is ther a Corvette Sting ray emblem on the right lower deck? I see what I believe to be a reflection, especially a broken line on the middle picture, but I cannot make out an emblem in the pictures from the rear.
