Does anyone know who can straighten steel wheels. I have two that have been curbed. and wobble. I have only found one place that could do it, but they want to cut the centers out and put new ones in (which is not a option). They are "DF" wheels off my (Early) 1967 Z28 Camaro and are almost impossible to find. I wish they were as easy to find as the ones for my Corvette's Thanks for any help.

I will be watching this as well. I have a rim that has about .090 side run out. It would appear, as if a rather simple thing would be to mount this in a hub and then jack the rim in the direction it would need to go, until it is true. What have others done? -

I had a steel wheel from my '74 straightened by Rim and Wheel Works in Waltham, MA. I believe the cost was somewhere between $100-$150. The rim had considerable runnout and had a dent from a hydraulic jack mishap. The results were satisfactory. Here's their web site; http://rimandwheelworks.com/Comment

on one of my steel 15x5.5's. I was satisfied with the results, if I recall correctly it cost in the neighborhood of $75.
