427 hood support

Hello. I was reading some of the posts about the correct position for a 1966 hood support. My car is vin 3561 and it is a 427 car with the hood support on the left side. I see that on a recent post that someone said around vin 3600 the support went from the right side to the left side. How accurate is the 3600 number that was posted. Is mine correct on the left side? Thanks.

That number is approximate. What we would like to see is a good picture of the mounting area on your RH side innerfender where the mounting bracket would have been.
