54 235 valve lash

My shop manual does not have any info about the 235 valve lash. I would appreciate any info!

If you have the 1954 Supplement to the 49-53 Passenger Car Shop Manual you will find the specification on page 16. They are Intake .008 Exhaust .020.

Keith, the 54 owners manual (page 33) says the valve lash is set at 0.10" intake and 0.20" exhaust, measured hot, for the Blue Flamer. That's where mine is set, and it seems good.

Sorry, meant to say Intake 0.010" and exhaust 0.020"
