    57 Oil Fill Tube

The oil fill tube on my 57 FI intake is a little loose, it's my fault as I turned it in a lathe to make it fit better.

I had read about people spliting or cracking intakes while installing the oil tube so I made the tube smaller.

Any suggestions to tighten it up?
    Silicone, JB weld, etc.

    Thanks,
    Bruce B.

Get another tube, they are cheap. Clean it (if needed), stick it in the freezer for a while (to shrink if slightly), then install in your manifold.
Warming the manifold with sunlight (not any direct heat) is also a good idea.

      Ed,
Thanks, I'll get one and try doing what you recommend.
