Does anyone know where I can get a pair of NOS rocker mouldings for a 67 with under car exhaust? I have been told that the repos will not pass judging and I have had no luck on EBay or Hemmings. Thanks.

Re: 1967 NOS Rocker Mouldings
In my opinion and if possible to find out: It would be helpful to know the age of the NOS parts. View them carefully, as I believe later NOS are not as well made as the originals.
At lest for later 1965 examples, purchased in the 1970's, the front and rear "tips" got more wrinkles (from well used tooling).

Re: 1967 NOS Rocker Mouldings
Restored versions might end up looking the best, for the reasons I posted above. Again, my experience is based on 65.
Heep watching, set an e-bay alert, etc.
Good luck.

Re: 1967 NOS Rocker Mouldings
If I ABSOLUTELY HAD TO HAVE NOS rocker moldings I would contact the following two individuals. If it is available or can be found, they will either have it or know where to get.
JT Piper at www.pipersauto.com or David Crane at www.cranescorvette.com
Neither one will be cheap, so bring plenty of $$$$$. Good luck.

Re: 1967 NOS Rocker Mouldings
The current NOS (i.e.Service Replacements) being sold today will not pass 100% NCRS either. There is a tooling flaw on the ends versus the originals and points will be deducted as service replacement parts. Restore your original is the best way to go.Founder - Carolinas Chapter NCRS- Top

Re: 1967 NOS Rocker Mouldings
I pulled my NOS rocker moldings out of storage today, and wanted to get a pic on for anyone interested. I think, they are very early service replacements, possibly from around 1970 or so. The ends look exactly like the original set that's on my 43,000 mile, no-hit body "barn-find". This subject was asked on a week or so ago, and thought these pics might shed a little light on the subject. Hope this is helpful. Ridge.Good carburetion is fuelish hot air . . .- Top

Re: 1967 NOS Rocker Mouldings
Hi tom I was recently given a complete front bumper assembly as well as a set of rocker moldings and rear spring from a 67. I will take a close look at the rockers tomorrow. If they are nice you are welcome to have them for free if you are close to Jersey or if I make it to Carlisle I will be glad to bring them for you. You can call me at 973 876 1776 around lunchtime on Sat. Ted- Top

Yes. There is a place in the Detroit area. After the re-anodizing, I think you would have to repaint yourself.
You might also call Mr. Fortier, who has ads in the "driveline". He's near Flint, MI.
