265 is alive!

Got it running and valves adjusted. New rocker arm nuts cured the last problem and fixed the backfiring out the carb. Broke it in for 20 minutes at 2000 + rpm, never overheated or sputtered, ran 40 - 60 pounds of oil pressure as well. Would have taken it for a spin around the neighborhood, but we have a lightening storm front on it's way.

Almost done, might even be ready for Hot August Nights if chrome gets done fast....

Mike - it's always good to hear that another one is alive and about to hit the road. Have fun at Hot August Nights. I hope your chrome makes it. Can you post a picture?
