1962 Odometer stuck

I watched my odometer try to roll from 999 to 1000 miles and it can't quite make the roll. The speedo still works but reads a bit off running down the road (at what I think is 60, it slowly floats up above 70 and down around 50).

Are there any shortcuts on getting a stubborn odometer to roll, aside from pulling the whole cluster?

Anyone have any experience (good or bad) on having their cluster serviced? Who are some of the vendors you can suggest?

They replaced a gear , calibrated /cleaned .my C2 speedo /odo.
low cost nice people quick turnaround. if i recall corectly a guy named Hemp ...worked for me .
