      Hello Alan,
Where you been lately, I haven't been able to soak up any of your 71 knowledge? I was hoping to see you on the judging field?

Thanks for wishing me a safe trip, my trailering skills are greatly improved and will only improve more with this 1800 mile round trip!

Oh, the Blue shirt is about to be packed,

      Kevin

        Hi Kevin,
My wife and I were on vacation for almost 3 weeks. NO internet by choice.
As the Convention gets closer I feel more bummed about staying home. Next summer, San Jose, is actually more possible for me because we can tie it to a trip to see my wife's brother in San Francisco.
I can just imagine how terrific the judging floor is going to look in St Louis. It's always amazing when you see it for the first time after all the cars are in place.
        Have a great time!
        Regards,
        Alan

No internet by who's choice, yours or the Mrs.? Sorry you will be missed in St. Charles, the owners will be at a loss without your knowledge! Check your Email, you might find someting very interesting.
Just can't wait to see the judging floor, I'm sure the folks involved have everything in order. You know that I will enjoy myself!

Depends! What are driving and or bringing? What was it a Typhon, whats the mpg?
My tow vehicle's mpg is 8.8, and that's with or without the load.
            Safe on the road!

Leaving in the morning from Penn Valley, CA. 2007 2500 with trailer for 62. Expected gas bill round trip calculates as $ 1,922.

Good luck to all on the journey.

The Typhoon got 17.0 for the Pittsburgh trip. There's something not quite right. It got 19 on the Denver trip, and used to get 20+ on interstate trips. Could be gasoline quality......

                  See ya there.
Dave, Happy motoring, see yu in less then a week!

Wow, My fuel expense will be closer to 1000. about half your cost. How much time on the road for you? We expect about 15 hours+-, map quest has been fairly accurate on lenth of time in the past. With one exception, to MD, map quest "guesstamite" was 4 hrs and it took only 2 1/2?

                  Safe on the road!
