68 427/400 Vacuum Advanace Spring Clamps
The Tech Guide states that there are suppose to be spring loaded clamps on each end of the dist. to the center carb vacuum advance line rubber hoses, it this correct?

Not owning a '68 AIM, I can't directly tell you the answer, but the answer should be found in the AIM as the vacuum lines were installed at St Louis.Bill Clupper #618 -

I am surprised at that notation. 1968s have a number of unusual features, but I wouldn't expect clamps there.TerryComment
