    C3 Harmonic Damper/Balancer Date Code?

Hi everyone. This is the balancer off my 350/300hp, build date of May, 70. Are either of these numbers date codes?
Julian date of 99 69 (April, 69),which would be WAY off for my car?
K1 69 (Nov., 69), which would be acceptable, and in fact match my original carb date?
    Neither?
I have asked the previous owners and they simply don't remember if the balancer is original to the car.
    Thanks, Patrick

The "9968" is NOT a date code; it's the last 4 digits of the casting number for the balancer HUB. The other series of characters may very well be a date code; I'm not really sure. In any event, these characters could not be seen with the balancer mounted on the engine.

Pat, I could buy into the K-1 being a date. If you will notice, it looks like the date plate on the blocks. Most cast iron casting dates were plates attached to the sand mold.

Anyone know when they STOPPED stamping the date code on the outer ring, timing cover-side vertical edge of the balancers (or at least the finned hi-horse ones) ? My early '65 has 'H64' (or is it '64H'; got it written down somewhere). This can be seen from below when crank positioned appropriately.
