I`m trying to decode the Chev. 200L Rev. 10-56 ticket for my 1957 Nomad which was built at the Los Angeles Assembly Plant. It lists Zone 20 Dealer 188. I`m quite certain that Zone 20 was the Los Angeles Zone and Dealer 20 is either Baer or AE Nugent, both Chevrolet dealers in LA at that time. I couldn`t find anything when I searched the Dealer Codes on this site. Any help is appreciated.

You are correct about Zone 20 being LA, BUT I have a vague memory of some time in the late 70's, that zone was divided and the other half went to San Diego.

The dealer codes are in alphabetical order and Guardian Chev is 189. Bet the dealer you seek begins with "G".
