    It doesn't take a newer parts catalog, it takes an OLD one. From what I can tell, this was a breaker-point distributor conversion kit. I believe it was applicable to 60's and 70's Oldsmobiles with V-8 engines. It had no Chevrolet applications that I can find going back at least 50 years. It may have been a Delco parts system only item or it may have been available through the GM parts system, too. If it was ever available through the GM parts system, it was discontinued more than 30 years ago.

      Thanks Joe, I looked in my 1972 corvette parts book and could not find the # so I thought the newer book.
