^3 owners manual Corvette News card

Does the Corvette News subscription mail in card stick out about 3/8" past the end of the manual or stop at the edge?I have a 1st edition that does and a 2nd edition that doesn't. Thanks

Thats a 63 owners manual

The binding process would include folding, gathering in page sequence, saddle stitching and t******* the completed booklet to size.
Result, all pages trimmed equallyto size.

Stan,
I thought all 63 Corvette News cards stuck out beyond the edge of the cover. I'm not at home to verify this but there are 2 editions in 63 and I believe both are the same.

Sure that's possible since some of the Service Replacements were without cards those with cards could have been added by hand and varied in length although 3/8" would seem a bit extreme.

The second edition I have in my collection has a card that protrudes beyond the cover when open. I believe it is an original. That confirms my belief that all 1963 Owners manuals were made like that.

The card in my original second edition manual sticks out beyond the pages.
