'62 battery caps?

Hi,
The guide says yellow with black writing, but Antique Auto Battery had said black with yellow writing was also correct? April build if it matters.

Hi Paul,
I purchased a battery from Antique Auto Battery a couple of years ago and when it came in it had black caps with yellow letters, I called them and they mailed me the correct yellow caps with black lettering and even an addressed envelope to mail back the incorrect caps.
I believe yellow with black lettering is correct for 62.

I believe Mike is correct for the 62. The 63 has the black caps with yellow lettering. I got my battery from Restoration Battery and I met the owner at Bloomington Gold a few years back (name skips my recollection now) and complained about the lettering going away over time with battery in use. He gave me another new set of caps in a bag and advised me to just put them on for shows, then remove and put the faded ones back on for driving. I thought that was a nice gesture on his part.

I'm not sure if this a problem with all repro caps, be them yellow or black.
