Help to ID this carb

Hello Everyone,

This is a photo of the carb from a '67 L-79 Coupe I recently purchased. Is this the correct carb? At first I thought it was dated 681, but it appears to be a "B" and not an "8" and now I'm confused.

Per the Judging Guide, "B" is december, so it would have been built in December of 1966, first week

The body build is E09 (Dec. 9th) and production date was Dec. 12th according to the documentation from GM Canada.

Kurt,

That carb is probably a perfect match for your car. The carb was put on in St. Louis, and is a week before your final assembly date. You couldn't get closer.

On my 67, just about everything is dated within 3 weeks, castings to assembly date.
