    1963 Tail Lights Part Number & Location

    Could someone tell me the part numbers for the 63 tail lights and how they're arranged( left/right and inside/outside). Thanks!

    Richard,

    I don't have the numbers handy, but the part numbers ending with odd numbers go on the left (drivers) side. and the even numbers go on the right (passengers) side. If you hold them up you will see a more abruped curvature on one than the other. This one goes outboard.

    Also, it's pretty easy to slip them in place for a test fit. If you have the wrong one in the wrong spot, you will know it immediately.

      Tracy gave you good info on the fit. Part manual shows the numbers as follows.

      Lamp assembly for tail and stop.

      910554 RH outboard with directional signal
      910553 LH outboard with directional signal

      910558 RH inboard with directional signal ( excpt backup lamp )
      910557 LH inboard with directional signal ( excpt backup lamp )

      Lenses were part number 5954803

        Tracy;

        If perhaps you may be looking fot the housing numbers, I just checked my old ones out in the garage;

        Left: P/no. 5954221L & 5954231L

        Right: P/no. 5954228 R.H. & 59544232 R.H.

        Hadn't looked at those since I changed them out in 1976. Not sure of inner and outer as they are just loose in a bag. I would have got back to you quicker only I had to take the dog out too.
