Zip repro SHP finned balancer

Has anyone seen, used or installed a Zip products reproduction finned 8 inch balancer for 63-65 SHP engines? Is it close to the original, or an obvious reproduction? At about $300 it's tempting to get since not much of it shows anyway and it's a brand new part.

Are the fins cast in as original, or are they added to make it look like an original part.

I think that all of these reproduction SHP 327 balancers originate from the same manufacturing source. So, I don't think it matters who you buy it from. In any event, the "fins" on these balancers are cast-in, as-original.

FYI, balancers can be rebuilt for about $100-150.

If I had one, I would have it rebuilt. Since I dont, I wanted to see if anyone has compared the reproduction to the original. Looks like no one has.

I'll ditto this reply and add "harmonic balancer rebuilder" and you should have a couple more sites.
