    C-1 Cowl vent lever

    What is the correct finish for the cowl vent lever on a '61?

      Richard,

      The cowl vent and lever were painted off the car and installed afterward, so the fasteners are unpainted with the exception of the carriage bolt nearest the vent, which was installed before paint. The lever and attaching bracket are semi-gloss black. The tube riveted to the vent was also, but it was oversprayed when the vent was painted body color.
