1972 Auto Transmission Cooling Line Hose

I have a 1972 coupe 350/200 Automatic. I cannot find anything specific in the Judging Guide for the rubber hose section of the transmission cooling lines. Is there any markings that these require? Are they just standard 5/16" I.D. hoses? What about the clamps? Anything special there?

    Thanks in advance.

Roger I about 15-16 years ago I replaced a rubber hose on my 70 turbo 400's connection to the radiator. Was driving the car later and the line I replaced ruptured while traveling slow. I know something was wrong because of the smoke created. Pullled quickly over and shut it off. Was so glad the fluid did not start a fire even though there was a city fire station about two miles away. I had used new rubber hose that was used for fuel lines. Repaired it with the same type of new hose only to get home with the car, about two mile drive.
Visited a local shop that makes hydraulic lines in house and bought some very good hose, steel reinforced. No more problems.

I see a lot of tiny tower clamps on original M40 1972s, but in this picture just to the left you can see a little of the hose and one of the side screw clamps on this 1972 454 M40 Bowtie car. I have also seen a part number tag folded over the metal line under the front cross member. You can see that in the background of this shot -- the yellow colored tag just beyond the control arm. Sorry I don't have anything better.

I have seen the side screw clamps on most 73's but they did not seal good for me and would leak.

          Thanks for the replies fellas.

I found a kit in Paragon Catalog (part #8657K) that includes 2 hoses and 4 clamps. They do not show a picture so I don't know what type of clamps they are providing. Mine probably has the right ones but just thought I would check first to make sure.
