Any one remember this add by Union gas in 1954 showing a 54 Corvette having the GM "Motor" Wire wheels a Chevrolet dealer parts department accessory most people say never happened ?? Worth twice the money the Corvette hub caps are!

I love wires and those are top of the heap. Going to look at a Copper 56 this weekend, supposed to be original will post pictures.

I remember many early 56's also having them installed , I don't know when they were discontinued by the parts department..

Hmmmm, love those highbeams too.....I mean headlights..... whatever.......uhhhh, what were we talking about, I forgot.

Oh yeah, wire wheels, yes, those are nice too Roy. BTW, are those held on with lugnuts.......or knockoffs(sp?)
