Is there a replacement for a Delco Coil 1115107. I have a 1115087 and need the 1115107.

the 087 will work , except on the judging field. NOS 107 scarce and expensive. copper sleeves with 107 embossed on them have been available for years.just slip the sleeve over any 50's era Delco coil(avoid Delco coils with the pair of plateaus embossed in the bakelite tower) cheap alternative.mike

Doc, Are you sure the copper sleeves are still available.? If so who sells them?. Meanwhile when you judge the LWC please remove your chew. JD

Rich, Very hard and expensive coil to find. Dale Pearman told me long ago that the 107's started life off for off road use such as heavy equipment and school buses. John
