    68 C3 Engine wiring harness

From reviewing the archives it appears that the engine wiring harness and vacuum hoses on my '68 were in some way bundled together (posssibly with non-stick black tape). My engine wiring harness is a complete mess (hacked into by multiple owners over the years) and soon I will be replacing my engine wiring harness and all vacuum hoses and I want to re-install them the right way. The AIM helps to a certain extent to understand how the harness and hoses were routed in the engine compartment but doesn't help me much on the bundling issue.

Can anyone give me some guidance or have a few pictures of original 68 engine compartments. My '68 is a 427/390. Thanks in advance for any replies.

    Michael,

Here are some shots of my 427/390 Top Flight 2007. Let me know what else you need. I took shots where the wiring harness and the hoses were close together. I believe the black tape is just electrical tape and not nylon wrapping. At least that is the way I did it.

Terry, thanks for the pictures. It helped a lot. I was under the impression that the wires and hoses were wrapped together for their entire length, which obviously isn't the case. A picture is worth a thousand words. By the way, what a great looking engine compartment. Now I have something to strive for (although my car is not a show piece).
