    62 very minor oil leak

Trying to stop a very small (one drip every minute) oil leak. Leak is at front of pan and appears to be coming between the oil pan gasket and the timing cover. Leak only occurs when running.

Any thoughts as to the best gasket sealer to use ?

    Thanks

    John

John, Only option is to remove the pan and install another gasket. The problem could also be the keyway slot in the harmonic balancer or the timing chain gasket as all these leaks end up where you are noticing the oil.

may also be the harmonic balancer is grooved from many revs. a sleeve is avalable to renew the sealing surface of the harmonic balancer. .mike
