    2. As it happens, I have the Al Knoch repro version of the covering pc. of black carpet seen in these photos. It's extra. If you need it, I will put it in the mail for free.

    3. Note that the separate pc. of carpet (original version in photos) was glued to a "backing board". I did this before installation in a '65 coupe.

    4. Note the quarter panel trim (vinyl covered cardboard, just behind the seats) is unique on the driver's side in the '65 coupe. Without the rear cabin air fan, the '66-'67 trim board (quarter panel trim) on that side is different. I believe the pass. side is the same, 1965-1967.

I am thinking of writing this up, as I elected to restore and use my originals on a recent '67 coupe restoration.
In the 3rd photo my 65 (AO Smith body) had a screw same as others in the top rear corner that went into the bare hole in the board. Also originally the carpet on mine was positioned so the corner of the board was completely covered . But that may just be variations on GM's workers. Carpet cut or possibly slight differences in the two plants.

Gene: My article is written as of today. I will send a copy.

Any comment on the part number change in the "cover". I mentioned this in this same discussion, right above your reply, in the "separate thread".
