    Seven Springs and Pitt Chapter

JOB WELL DONE! Great event! Great food and, of course the great cars! Good to see a lot people that I know.

BTW - Drove the LADY 411 miles round trip from my home in Maryland. Tried to keep her steady at 70 mph and averaged right at 18 miles per gallon! To say I was ecstatic is an understatement! To top it off, got the Regional Founder's Award. LADY was also used for Advance Judging School.

Glad you enjoyed the event. The PITT Chapter worked really hard to put on a quality event. Thank DeGregory for the food. He did an excellent job.

Thanks also for the use of your beautiful car for the advanced judging school. Every time I walked by your car was on the lift.

Don, It was a group effort for sure. The Pittsburgh Tri-state Chapter team worked their butts off and pulled off another successful regional. Big thing is that we did own homework so that when we did get to Seven Springs we were prepared. Thanks for being a wonderful show chairman. You ran a tight ship and tried to keep me in line. That in itself is a job.
As far as the food goes a lot of people gave me a pat on the back but I did NOT deserve it. Seven Springs Mt. Resort is a convention center and all you have to do is pick the menu and tell them how many. They do the rest with no excuses. The food at that resort is to die for. They have their act together. That is why it is sooo difficult getting a date for a regional with them. The place is always booked big time. Years ahead.
The reason Ricky's car was on the lift so much is that it was being serviced so he could make the long ride home. heeeeee. Seriously Rick has a most wonderful reliable 63. I mean he drives the crap out of it and thinks nothing of it.

Thanks Pittsburgh Chapter members and all of NCRS for helping us have a memorable event. I always get a little sad when they are over. Now to start planning another. Yes Don I know. But it was fun you know. THe LWC (little white car) loved the show and almost made it thru ops. That's another story. JohnD.

John, It was a great regional and I thought everything turned out great.
A couple of things need to be looked into for the next one. If your car is entered in the next regional for an advanced award, it to would have to sit outside. You should have seen the sad faces on sat when it thunder stormed on the display cars outside. Other than that detail to work out everything else was smooth sailing!!!

Bill,When the rain Gods are in control you will have that. Nothing you can do about it. Yes it was one of our better regionals. Course we had a good experienced team and some good leaders. Thanx, JD

Congratulations to all that contributed to this great show. I saw some familiar faces and met a bunch more.
I was impressed with the quality of the Judges and the facilities were top notch; although I bet there are a few participants still wandering the halls looking for the showfield.
I was also suprised on Saturday how impatient some of the Flight owners were to drive their car in the rain before it was "officially" over. You would have thought they'd be happy to have the cars indoors and wait until the rain passed!
My hats off to all you guys...you truly did a wonderful job!

Don, Jim&Jimmy Fontana did a wonderful job on all the photos. Very impressive.
Look for my white 63 FI Car (LWC) on top of the page in the center.
Also scroll down and look at the 66 BB black race car that was parked outside in front of Festival Hall. Sorta looks like the one Michael Hanson used to race???
I am proud to be a member of the Pittsburgh Tri-State chapter. We have a group that is more than Corvette owners or NCRS members. They are my friends. John D.
