    C3: 427 bellhousing painted or not?

    Hi,
    I have a '69 427/435 4 speed. Should the bellhousing be natural or painted orange? Thanks in advance.

      It was partially painted. Usually, from the engine back to about 2-4" from the rear of the bellhousing. Some were completely painted.

      ALL 1963-74 Corvette bellhousings were painted EXCEPT 1969 with ZL-1.
