    56 Power Top Solenoid

I have a 56 with a power top and believe it or not, it works. I do have one problem the "deck lid open" part of the solenold does not work all the time. Does anyone know of a repair service or a vender who might have a solenoid for sale? Thanks, Joe

Check Lectric Limited. You can access their web site from the "Visit our Advertiser's" button on the top menu bar. Gary....

Try Convertible Top Specialists in Inverness, Florida, (352) 637-5505, www.topsdown.com - they have anything you need. They rebuilt all the hydraulics, motor, pump, and solenoids and supplied new hoses and lift cylinders for the '58 I covered in my C1 Power Top Restoration article in the November, '07 issue of "Corvette Enthusiast" magazine.

Hi Roy, Good to here from you again. As usual you always have a good example. I started to pull the solenoid out and then got another reply about a place in FL that rebuilds the solenoids. I called them and for about $100-$150 they will rebuild my solenoid. I think this would be the better way to go, but thanks again for you reply and your help. Thanks, Joe
