    Electric window '68

I have a window problem. What is usually the situation when an electric window is raised but stops abruptly after traveling about 4 inches? Returns to down position ok, same story going back up. I have yet to tear into it.
    Thanks.

Typically, the result of worn rollers binding in their tracks OR the window glass is improperly adjusted causing it to hit/rub and present the motor with too high friction, Charlie.

First, try raising/lowering the window with the door open and if that works, the glass is probably hitting the front/rear side seals and needs to be adjusted. If it still refuses to raise with the door open, pull the door panel and have a look-see inside.

BTW, the chassis service manual has a nice write-up on the various adjustments for the Corvette door glass...
