My father recently purchased a 91 convertible. Does anyone know of a reputable mechanic in the Myrtle Beach, SC area that works on 91 Vettes?

Hey Greg...wish I could help you but I'm in Myrtle Beach and afraid those the local Corvette went to either retired their biz or moved to Cincinnatia (however its freakin spelled). Both were considered excellent.

What are your issues? I had a 90 and worked extensively on it. Actually enjoyed it

No issues. The car is being delivered early next week. It has 31/K miles on it and everything is fine. The car still has the original tires. I should've asked before he purchased the car. He just wants to find someone BEFORE something happens. Do you have a shop or work on them from your home?

Greg if you and your dad do some work on cars, recommend that he contact Helm INC and order the service manual for the 1991 Corvette, it will be over an inch thick loaded with information that will help you trouble shoot any problem. My 85's service manual is over an inch thick, my 96's service manual comes as two thicker books.
