61-62 fawn beige trunk mat

Does anyone out there have an ORIGINAL 61-62 trunk mat? What is the part number that is ink-stamped on it? Any pics? Thanks!!!!!

Mike, I have a buddy locally that I see at our weekly cruise nights. He has a very original fawn beige 62, with it's original mat. I'll try to get him to locate the ink stamped# on his. However, may take a while as he'll have to unload his trunk with all of his stuff inside to locate the #. I installed a new master cylinder in the car for him a few months ago, and he's using every square inch of trunk space for his spare parts. He has no garage.

Mike; This is off of an original "red" 62 trunk mat I have. Hope this helps. Bill

Bill--that's not an original 62 mat--that's a 2nd-generation GM mat. The originals installed in the car didn't have the part number molded in--it was stamped in with black ink. I appreciate the pics, however, because it is in very nice condition!

The mat in my Almond Beige is black. Be glad to take a picture of that if you want.

Sorry Mike. Thought it was an original.It was in 62 that triple crowned a couple years ago. Lost no points. Shows ya what I know.

Jack--if your almond beige car has a black interior, it should be black. The trunk mat coordinates with the interior color. I have several original black ones, and one original red one--looking for a beige one.
