    1962 High HP tach question

    Is the tach used on a 340HP car marked with "registerers cable speed" or are the tachs marked this way used when the tach is generator driven?

      I just found the answer in Nolands book Vol. #1.
      The 62 tachs are all distributor driven and register "twice cable speed"
      The generator driven tachs of earlier years register cable speed.
      So the tach in question is not for a 62 Corvette.
