On a freshly rebuilt PG is the trans fluid fill quantity 9 quarts?

Also, how many quarts can be added to the transmission prior to starting the engine?

I'm not sure but 9 quarts sound right ,add two then start the engine and add the rest.

The owner's manual says total capacity is 11 quarts, and sump refill only is 4-1/2 quarts; that says the converter retains 6-1/2 quarts at shutdown.
