    1967 Fender skirt holes

I have two 1967 427/435 cars I am restoring and i think that there are to many holes in the fender skirts. Does some one have a pic or is there some book that shows what holes are supposed to be there? One is a 435hp A.I.R. car with no other options, the other is 435hp no options.

    Thanks

Joe; This the right inner fender of my no hit, non A.I.R. 435. Hope this is what you want. Bill

The two "holes" shown in Bill's photo (used on SB cars and L-88 for the balance hose from the radiator to the expansion tank) were present in all RH inner fenders - they were pre-drilled by the panel molder. The four holes at the rear for the rivets that attached the expansion tank mounting bracket were also pre-drilled by the panel molder, and were typically closed with globs of bond material on BB cars.

Maybe 66 is different than 67 but the heater hose clamp is located about an inch further rearward on my car.
Also, the 66 does have the holes for the wiring harness that John H described.
The holes for the supply tank are filled with bond and it appears it was applied from the wheel side.

Here you go. No empty holes. Thats a water spot just above the wires.
