Hello, Folks,
My newly reconditioned (two years ago, but just installed it this week) wiper motor assembly appears to have an internal ground fault which will not allow it to operate on the high speed setting (bench testing verifies that the problem is in the unit, not my harness or wiper switch).
Does anyone have any experience working on the inside of one of these units? Where should I look for the ground fault first?
I've rebuilt a couple of other electric motors in my lifetime, so I'm not too intimidated about cracking the case, but I would like to hear from anyone else who may have attempted this 'surgery' before.
As always, thanks in advance for any assistance.
