Inside Rearview Mirror

Was the inside rearview mirror date coded for a March 68 car? The standard stainless back with grey rubber trim around it, and if so how was it coded? Paragon tip #71 implies it was not. If they stopped doing the correct outside mirror are they still making the inside one?

Day/nite interior mirrors were not date coded. Your '68 uses the same mirror as '67L-72 cars.

Yes, Paragon has both rebuilt original D/N mirrors, GM licensed reproduction mirror and offers a rebuild service as well.

If you have the correct original D/N mirror and the only thing wrong is the silver reflective surface has deteriorated, you can buy just the glass from them and install it yourself. Several threads on this in the archives...
