Re: Fasten Seat Belt Light
Ed, welcome to the Disscussion Board. Your questions is out of my realm but I thought I would comment to get you back up front in the viewing area. I know someone will be able to advise you.

Ed
I would check and see what lap belts you have by the number on the original tag. I think in 72 the later cars had a switch in the retractor and the early cars did not. I think a Dec. 71 build is near the change from the lap belt tags I have seen. Knowing the system you have some 72 posters should be able to help.Lyle

Re: Fasten Seat Belt Light
Ed, Lyle has stated it correctly. The change occurred sometime in December 1971. If your seat belt is model C15, you should have the sensor, not the timer that extinguishes the light on its own Model C14. The new JG details this.- Top
