I looked at my brackets that hold the caliper and they appear to be the original brackets as they have a fair amount of surface rust, scale, etc. and match the rest of the underside of the car. I have not attempted to clean them as yet to see if the #'s are there. Can you tell me if all 75's have a similar bracket with the difference being the #? I have a parts manual ordered however it has not arrived.

Standard brake cars did not have the brackets, only J-56 cars. If your car has them, and the springs that came with the Z-07 package, sounds like it most likely is a Z-07 car originally

Thanks so much. I went and looked at a 75 and it doesn't have the brackets. (as you just verified) The brackets on my car appear to be original as they look like they would on 52,000 mile car and match the suspension. The car does have all of the other parts transmission, spring, sway bar etc that are in the FE package. Needless to say it's a pleasant surprise to have one of a very few Z07's. This car will probably be a keeper.
