    Daylight Running lights/turn signal problem

The passenger side DRL/TS on my 2001 is not working properly. Park lights work but nothing else. This is creating a "fast blink" for my right turn signal on my instrument panel. I have heard about problems with these getting wet and shorting out. I have a couple of questions and I hope I do not sound too remedial.

    1. Do you have to replace the whole DRL/TS as a unit or can you just replace bulbs?

    2. How do you access the DRL/TS? I have just looked at it briefly and did not see an easy way to do it. I have not gotten up under the car yet to look for access from behind but any direction would help me save valuable "thinking" time.
