57 Rear Top Outer Wheelwell Lip

My 57 Corvette is starting to sit low in the rear-end.Does anyone know how many inches the rear top outer wheelwell lip should sit above the ground?
If you know the front top outer wheelwell lip measurement that would be helpful too.

Marc,

If memory serves, the 56/57 aim shows 3.8 inches from the top of the rear axle housing to the bottom of the frame kick up area over the axle This is with the car at curb weight (no occupants). Mine sits at 4 inches and looks like it squats some in the rear.
