    C2 Hardtop mounting holes.

Hello forum! This is my first time so be gentle. I have a 67 conv. that has a Parrish hardtop on it. I was wondering if someone with a factory hardtop would measure the width of the holes in the rear deck and the distance from the back of the deck lid. I would like to replace this Parrish top with a factory vinyl top if the holes are the same. Do the factory holes have a bezel or anything when the top is off? Thanks for alot of good info!

Can't help with the measurements. All my cars are coupes.
Yes, there is a hollow threaded chrome bezel, retained with a nut on the underside of the deck.
The hollow center is threded to accept the hardtop bolt which is unique.
The bolts are a pan head carriage design to slide into the channel retainers in the hardtop, chrome plated and have a semi-rigid pointed vinyl tip.
    Hope this helps.

The holes on the top of the deck receive bezels that are not threaded, the side mounted bezels are theaded on the ID and OD.

To determine your holes on the top surface, use the hard top as a guide, there are slots for the carraige bolts to go through and not spin. The bolts are retained by a washer and a nut. The carraige bolt has a small black rubber nipple stuck into the threaded end to protect the paint.

Look in your AIM under section C07 Hardtop, I don't remember the sheet ID (its an alpha-numeric).

      Welcome to the NCRS Jeff!

Wondering if anyone knows the answer to this related to the carrage bolt. Should it have a "R" stamped in the head or nothing? I have some in a GM bag that do not have any markings and some others I got over the years with the "R" - thank you - Jeff Cornwell

            Hi Jeff
The orginal rear hadtop bolts had plain heads, NO R.

9 1/4 from the back, 30 3/4 across center to center.
