Shoulder seat belt for convertible

Wish to install shoulder belts in 72 convertible, has anyone done this? can shoulder belts only be purchased (retractable)and fitted to match with existing lap belts? I have found mounting points on frame and expect seat back rest mouldings will have to be changed to allow belt to pass through. Any suggestions for where to get belts.

It can certainly be done. I have all the parts necessary for my 1974 roadster but it is a round-to-it project for the moment. (E-mail me re source. I don't think I can post a link here.)

I have received your e-mails and sent several back. I keep getting the DAEMON Mail Failure notice back so I don't know how to communicate with you?? Do you really have an e-mail address with two @s in it? I have never seen that.

This is where I purchased the shoulder belts for my 1974. Andover is located
in Maryland. As the pics
showed, they are the through-the-seat type. Quality is excellent and I
thought $200US for the pair was reasonable.
