    Great Restorer Magazine

    Vinnie,
Been a member since 1976. Your current RESTORER Spring 2008, Vol 34 #4 is way better than I ever thought you could do. I am impressed, and think you have found a new career opportunity.

These last 10 years, NCRS has had many ups and downs and I have felt lost FOCUS on what we all use to enjoy. Well I see that maybe now is the time to send you an article or two.

We all should 'share' our knowledge before it is too late. Especially about the older cars that we 'old geezers' got weened on.

The pictures of 'REAL DEAL' Ballard and 'Papa Smurf' on page 42 brought a smile to my face. There is a pair to draw to.

I really enjoyed the BRITISH COLUMBIA CHAPTER, AUSTRIALIAN CHAPTER, DUCH CHAPTER, and NEW ZEALAND CHAPTER articles. Makes one interested in how can we visit some day with oil and US dollar problems preventing a quick trip.

I will send you a copy of my 65 FUEL INJECTION REGISTRY article that appeared in our So. Cal BONDING STRIP Newsletter last year. Maybe the membership will have interest in it.

    Keep up the good work,
    JIM

    Re: Great Restorer Magazine

I fully agree the latest issue of the Restorer is excellent. Congratulations to Vinnie Peters and all those who contributed material for this issue.

This issue represents a welcome return to a magazine dedicated to members sharing their experiences with their Corvettes and the NCRS. The real power of the NCRS lies in the commaraderie and sharing of information. So yes, the quality of the Restorer not only falls on the able talent of Vinnie but equally on the membership for submitting articles.

Thank you very much Mr. Peters and crew!! This is without a doubt the best Restorer issue in a looong time, imho. I am really glad the organization is finally able to publish the Restorer in full color....outstanding job, folks...just outstanding!

            Jim et al,

            The Restorer

The Publications Committee made it very clear that they wanted The Restorer returned to the membership, by the members, about our cars and what we do with them. I will continue to strive to make it just that.

I look forward to working with the membership and making The Restorer an extraordinary publication.
